Cyber Police Bust Gambling Network, Seize 200 Million Baht Yearly
Cyber police dismantled an online gambling network called BULL789, uncovering about 200 million baht in annual turnover. They arrested 12 suspects across three provinces, seizing phones, a notebook, and bank books linked to mule accounts and finance admins. Officers are still pursuing four more suspects to identify the network’s leaders and cut its financial flow.
On October 7, 2026, Police Lieutenant General Tin God Rangmat ordered Police Major Generals Kritach Bunrunrutnayot, Sarayut Junnawat, and Songkorn Krekritaya to launch an operation against the BULL789 online gambling network after investigators found the websites MAXBULL789, BLACKBULL789, and REDBULL789 promoting gambling. The network used mule accounts and finance admins to collect, withdraw, and transfer money, generating roughly 200 million baht per year. Police arrested 12 suspects under warrants in three provinces, seizing nine items: four mobile phones, one notebook, and four bank books. All detainees were apprehended according to Chiang Mai Provincial Court warrants.
Investigators revealed the network split duties between mule account owners and finance admins who handled withdrawals. Officers focused on the financial side, gathered evidence linking to the controllers, and raided two houses in Chonburi Province. The first house in Samed subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi, led to the arrest of 40-year-old Pracha, identified as a mule account owner; police seized three mobile phones and bank books from Kasikorn, Krung Thai, and Government Savings banks in his name. The second house in Surasak subdistrict, Si Racha, resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Natthapong, a finance admin and withdrawal controller; officers confiscated a notebook, a mobile phone, and a Kasikorn bank book under the name Bromporn.
Additional mule account suspects—Srasoi, Kanlayao, Yaoerat, Weiriphat, and Rachaneephon—were arrested in Klong Kiu subdistrict, Ban Bueng district, while Bromporn was detained in Nabua subdistrict, Mueang Surin district. Police continue to pursue four remaining suspects, examining communication devices and financial trails to expand the investigation to the network’s leaders and beneficiaries, aiming to cut the money flow sustaining the online gambling operation and to prosecute all involved parties. Preliminary charges include conspiracy to organize gambling, advertising, and related offenses.
