CP Group distributed 700 movie tickets to employees and families for a Mother's Day screening of "Dear You...A Letter to Mother," a film celebrating gratitude and familial bonds that aligns with the company's core values.
The Charoen Pokphand Group recently partnered as heritage sponsor of the film "Dear You...A Letter to Mother" and organized a special Mother's Day screening event for employees. The company distributed 700 movie tickets to CP staff and their families to watch a film exploring themes of love, connection, memory, and gratitude. The initiative aligns with CP's core value of promoting "gratitude" as a foundation for building strong individuals and families.
Thanin Chearavanont, senior chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group, praised the film for its profound portrayal of filial piety and debt of gratitude, particularly among overseas Chinese communities. "It's not just an entertaining film, but one that offers life lessons and values," he said. "The story is told comprehensively with moments of emotion, joy, and excitement that leave a lasting impression on viewers."
Dr. Theeraphol Thanomsakdiyutthi, head of corporate sustainability and strategy development, emphasized that CP hopes employees and families will use this experience to reflect on gratitude and strengthen bonds. "The values in this film—gratitude, the diaspora experience, and human cooperation—resonate deeply with Thai society and our corporate values. We aim to foster a culture of gratitude within our organization and families," he said.
Panadda Thongdee, head of events and catering services at True Properties, attended with her brother and expressed gratitude for the opportunity. "Beyond the joy of the occasion, this film reminds us of the importance of gratitude that our families have always upheld. It also connects us to our ancestors and the generations that built our families," she noted.
Dr. Treepal Sattrappai, senior manager of analysis at Charoen Pokphand Foods, attended with his wife and son and called it a meaningful family experience. He noted that the company's values of diligence, honesty, compassion, and kindness align with the film's core message.
