A drug-addicted woman under the influence broke into a resident's home and accused someone of stealing her bank account containing 3 million baht. Police tracked her down and filed three charges. A social media page posted a video on September 3, 2026, criticizing the revolving-door approach to drug offenders and questioning why such individuals are repeatedly released after arrest.
According to the homeowner's statement, around 9 p.m. a 41-year-old woman named Pom, a member of the community, came into his home in Sai Yok Subdistrict, Phuthai Sai District, Buriram Province, appearing to be under the influence. She forced open a window, shouted accusations, and claimed someone had stolen 3 million baht from her bank account. The homeowner's granddaughter recorded video evidence as a precaution against escalation.
The following morning, the homeowner reported the incident to Phuthai Sai Police Station. Officers tracked down the suspect's residence and took her into custody for investigation and legal proceedings. A preliminary drug test showed positive results, and police filed three charges: methamphetamine possession without authorization, unlawful entry into a dwelling at night, and property damage. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
