Agricultural Innovation Firm Launches Durian Tech Expo 2026

Jianghai Limited, led by Dr. Manas Jiangrawon, is advancing its position as an agricultural solution provider by organizing the Durian Tech & Expo 2026 event in Chanthaburi province at the Provincial Administrative Organization grounds. The event creates a forum for durian farmers, government agencies, experts, and businesses to exchange views on current durian farming challenges while demonstrating smart agricultural technology and knowledge in real-world applications. Supaporn Kiatsirikij, Chief Marketing Officer of Jianghai Limited, explained that the company has shifted its role toward becoming a solution provider by integrating knowledge, technology, and expertise from multiple sectors to design farming approaches tailored to specific crops, locations, and farmer groups. The Chanthaburi event represents Jianghai's commitment to bringing agricultural knowledge and technology to local durian growers while understanding their challenges and developing appropriate solutions. Durian farmers currently face multiple challenges including variable weather, production costs, labor management, and quality and market competition demands.

Kiatsirikij added that Jianghai believes technology and knowledge can enhance farmers' decision-making and orchard management efficiency, but the key is studying, testing, and learning from actual field use to understand how technology fits each farm's conditions and working methods. Rather than simply introducing agricultural drones, irrigation systems, or machinery, Jianghai aims to adapt technology specifically for durian farming, since good technology is not measured by modernity alone but must prove it genuinely helps farmers work better and achieve better results. This philosophy is reflected in event activities offering farmers the chance to see technology demonstrations and exchange knowledge with experts. A key highlight is the panel discussion titled "Managing Variable Weather: Turning Durian Farm Crisis into Opportunity Through Technology," covering climate change perspectives, impacts on farming and the durian industry, adaptation strategies, and technology's role in orchard management. Participants include Associate Professor Seree Suppratitp, an expert in climate change and disasters; Krittidech Yuurot, president of the Thai Durian Association; Panutsak Saipanij, advisor to the Thai Durian Association; Thammarath Phitak Santisuk, executive of Chai Phruk Agrotech Company; and Nattavut Sanserm, a model durian farmer. A special lecture by Danai Angsusingha, an independent academic, will also address products suited to durian orchards in times of variable climate. Technology demonstrations will include XAG Thailand agricultural drones.
