Election Commission Shifts 32 Polling Sites for Social Security Vote
The Election Commission has moved 32 polling stations for the upcoming Social Security Board election on October 11 after flooding affected the original sites. Employers and insured persons nationwide are advised to verify their voting details through the Social Security Office’s online channels or contact local offices. SMS alerts will be sent on October 9 to inform voters of the changes.
On October 8, the Social Security Office called on employers and insured individuals across the country to check their voting rights and polling stations ahead of the October 11 election for employer and insured representatives on the Social Security Board. Due to flooding, the provincial Election Commission revised 32 polling locations. On October 9, the Office will send SMS notifications to inform affected voters of their new polling sites.
