Ex-Constitutional Court Chief Nakharin Reports 44 Million Baht in Assets
Former Constitutional Court Chief Nakharin Mektrairat declared combined assets of 44.2 million baht with his spouse, comprising primarily real estate holdings across Bangkok and nearby provinces, after stepping down in July 2025.
On September 22, 2025, the National Anti-Corruption Commission released the asset and liability declaration of Nakharin Mektrairat, who stepped down as Constitutional Court President on July 24, 2025. Nakharin served as a Constitutional Court judge from November 2015 to March 2024, then as president from March 2024 to July 2025.
Nakharin and his spouse, Suphaporn Mektrairat, jointly reported combined assets of 44.2 million baht with bank debts of 16,514 baht. Nakharin's personal assets total 33 million baht, comprising bank deposits across 21 accounts (5.8 million baht), investments (3.3 million baht), and real estate and buildings (23.6 million baht). His property holdings include land in Bangkok's Bang Khen district (400,000 baht), two plots in Saen Suk, Chachoengsao province (7 million baht combined), and six residential units valued at 23.6 million baht across prime Bangkok locations including Phetchburi, Rama 6, and Phaholyothin areas, plus a property in Chachoengsao (1.5 million baht) and a vehicle (300,000 baht).
Nakharin reported annual income of 2.98 million baht, including salary (2.3 million baht), pension (503,928 baht), property income (40,000 baht), and dividends (120,000 baht), against annual expenses of 1.08 million baht. His spouse Suphaporn declared personal assets of 11.2 million baht in bank deposits (7.2 million baht across 14 accounts), investments (1.5 million baht), a vehicle (500,000 baht), and jewelry and gold ornaments (1.95 million baht), including 15 gold chains, 4 chains, 19 bracelets and earrings, 27 rings, and various other pieces. She reported annual property income of 550,000 baht against 710,000 baht in expenses.
