On September 22, residents reported smelling leaking gas at the Prachakaset intersection on Krung Kasem Road in Pranakorn district, Bangkok, around 10 a.m. Firefighters and rescue personnel from Phukhao Thong Station attended with the district engineering office and found gas escaping continuously from the road surface. Preliminary investigation revealed that debris clogging an underground utility pipe was the source.
