Ex-Headmaster Crashes into Elderly Couple's Car Twice, Tested at 130mg Alcohol

Upon arriving at the scene, she found the headmaster appearing intoxicated and refusing to leave his vehicle. During negotiations while awaiting insurance adjusters, an argument broke out. When she said they should wait for the insurance company, the headmaster became angry, saying "What are you going on about? We're not done here," before driving his vehicle into her mother's car a second time, visible in CCTV footage.

She questioned why officers did not conduct an immediate breathalyzer test and claimed they said their kits were exhausted. She requested the suspect be taken to hospital for testing, which later revealed 130 milligrams per centum blood alcohol content. She also noted that the headmaster has not given a direct statement himself but instead sent his granddaughter to testify in his place. During the case proceedings, a police officer approached her asking her not to press charges, mentioning "the commander wants this dropped." The suspect made three separate attempts to offer 100,000 baht through officers to settle the matter, though she never met him directly.

She stressed she is not seeking compensation since her mother's vehicle has first-class insurance coverage. However, her mother has suffered emotional distress, losing 10,000 baht in daily trading income because she could not conduct business due to the damaged vehicle. She simply wants the police to handle the case fairly and transparently. She also investigated whether the suspect has political connections in Saraburi province, though she received word from an aide that while a local politician was informed of the incident on the day it occurred, they only offered advice and did not interfere with the case.

Akkapop Luangprasert, coordinator of the Samut Prakan Police Station page, stated that based on the video evidence received, the second collision was clearly captured on film and recommended police proceed according to evidence and facts, especially given the confirmed blood alcohol content of 130 milligrams per centum. He committed to liaising with the deputy commander of Saraburi Provincial Police and the superintendent of Nong Kaew Police Station to monitor the case progress, noting that this is not a complicated matter and the public should not have to travel from Saraburi to Bangkok to seek justice.
