Father of Shooting Victim Forgives, Seeks Peace for Daughter
The father of a Grade 7 student killed in the Thepsirin School shooting in Nonthaburi has forgiven those involved, saying he holds no blame and wants only for his daughter to rest in peace.
On August 9 at 3 p.m., the father of a Grade 7 student who died in the shooting at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi shared his thoughts with reporters. He said he is no longer dwelling on what happened and is focused on caring for his surviving child. Regarding the incident itself, he believes everything unfolds as it is meant to and he holds no blame toward anyone involved. "I don't know what that person was going through, but I don't hold it against them," he said. "I just want my daughter to rest in peace."
He went on to say that while he believes the school maintains reasonable safety measures, the shooting was an unforeseen tragedy that no one could have predicted. "We shouldn't blame anyone," he stated. "The school isn't at fault. No one is at fault. We should work together to prevent such things in the future."
