Tisana Choonhavan, a former member of parliament from the Move Forward Party, has officially joined the For Thailand Party and pledged to advance human rights, democracy, and equality without leaving anyone behind.
On September 10, Tisana posted on Facebook stating that joining For Thailand represents her choice of a political platform to realize these values. Throughout her career, she has been guided by human rights, democracy, equality, and fairness for all people.
She believes democracy means more than elections—it requires a society where people's voices matter, state power is checked and accountable, and all individuals are respected with equal human dignity regardless of status, gender, race, religion, political views, or life circumstances.
Human rights must go beyond constitutional language to manifest in real life, covering the right to quality living standards, education, healthcare, employment, freedom of expression, justice, and the dignity of marginalized people in society.
Equality, she emphasized, does not mean making everyone the same but ensuring all have fair opportunities to live and develop without being left behind due to birth, poverty, or unjust social structures.
Her decision to join For Thailand represents a renewed commitment to a political space where she can advance these principles. She remains convinced that democracy without human rights is incomplete, and that human rights cannot be secure without democracy, equality, and justice—principles she will continue to uphold in all her political endeavors.
