Four members of the Teenosie street racing group have been convicted of high-speed racing on Vibhavadi Road. The Don Mueang Court sentenced each defendant to one month in jail, a 10,000-baht fine, one year suspended imprisonment with one-year probation, four report-in visits, and 24 hours of community service. They also received a six-month driving license suspension, 15 days of electronic monitoring, and a night-time curfew from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. All four vehicles, valued at over 4 million baht combined, were seized and forfeited to the state.
Deputy Commander Nithithorn Chintakanont stated that public roads are not racetracks and that high-speed driving endangers other road users and carries serious legal consequences. He commended Vibhavadi Rangsit traffic officers for using CCTV footage and modern technology to identify the suspects rather than engaging in dangerous pursuits, ultimately building a complete case against all four offenders.
The Thai traffic police urged all drivers to practice road discipline, avoid street racing, and refrain from reckless driving. Authorities warned that violators will face continuous legal prosecution and encouraged the public to report traffic violations to the Highway Police hotline 1193.
