On October 9, 2026, the influencer known as 'V10' arrived at the garage of mechanic Kranthi Sothapaisal, nicknamed 'Chanakij', accompanied by his team and lawyer Bom, to verify the condition of a classic American car and to reclaim it on behalf of its owner. The garage refused to let the entire team inside, only allowing lawyer Bom to enter, where he discovered that the car’s original engine was missing. Police from Pak Khlong Rangsit station were present to keep the situation from escalating. Chanakij said the owner had permitted the engine to be sold for 6,000 baht to fund drinks for his workers, and that he had set aside 140,000 baht to refund the customer. He also insisted the owner must collect the car personally, citing concerns about future problems, and noted that he had asked the owner to pick up the vehicle since August 22, 2026, charging a daily 300-baht storage fee. V10 stated he would review LINE chat logs to determine whether the owner had actually authorized the engine sale, and if not, would have lawyer Bom file a police complaint regarding the missing engine. Both sides continue to dispute the repair costs, the engine’s whereabouts, and the verbal confrontation that nearly turned violent.
