1 October 2026 – The Board of IRPC Public Company Limited resolved to appoint Sirimeth Leeapakorn as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, with effect from 1 October 2026 onward.

The appointment reflects the Board’s confidence in Sirimeth Leeapakorn’s capabilities, knowledge, expertise, and experience in the energy, petroleum, and petrochemical businesses, as well as his understanding of the industry context and its changes, which will be an important factor in sustaining operations and strengthening continuity in driving IRPC’s business.

Sirimeth Leeapakorn has more than 36 years of experience in the energy and petrochemical industry, encompassing engineering, business development, strategic planning and management, and organisational leadership. He previously held the position of Assistant Managing Director for Corporate Business Planning at IRPC before being assigned to duties within the PTT group, serving as Chief Operating Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) and as Deputy Managing Director for Special Affairs 3 – PTT Group Operational Excellence, where he played a key role in driving strategy, business development, and raising organisational operational efficiency.

Sirimeth Leeapakorn holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Chiang Mai University and a Master of Business Administration from Burapha University, and has completed executive and director training programmes at leading institutions, including the Role of the Chairman Programme (RCP50/2022) and the PTT Leadership Development Programme (LDP II) at Harvard Business School.

With his broad experience and expertise spanning engineering, technology, strategic planning, and organisational management, Sirimeth Leeapakorn possesses a comprehensive understanding of the energy and petrochemical industry, including global trends and the direction of energy transition. He is able to integrate knowledge and experience from multiple dimensions to set direction and manage the business so that it can respond to change and build long‑term strength for the organisation.
