Kasem Bundit University Wins 17th University Futsal Championship
Kasem Bundit University captured the 17th University Futsal Championship, defeating Pathumthani University 3-1 in the final at North Bangkok University's Saphan Mai campus.
The 17th University Futsal DPE – North Bangkok Championships 2026 concluded its official closing ceremony at the Kasikornbank Indoor Sports Center, King Bhumibol 80th Birthday Building, North Bangkok University's Saphan Mai campus. The event was presided over by senior university officials including the vice rector for administration and student affairs, and representatives from the Department of Physical Education, Molten Thailand, and Seatech Sport Co., Ltd.
The tournament aimed to develop and promote futsal at higher education institutions and support talented players for advancement to the national team. Sixteen universities participated in total, including Chulalongkorn University, National Sports University Samut Sakhon Campus, Kasem Bundit University, Christian University, Saint John's University, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Rajamangala University of Technology Bangkok, Pathumthani University, Rajabhat Rangsit University, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University, Dhonburi Rajabhat University, Ramkhamhaeng University, Srinakharinwirot University, Nakhon Ratchasima College, Asian Graduate School, and host North Bangkok University.
The championship results saw Kasem Bundit University defeat Pathumthani University 3-1 in the final to claim this year's title and trophy. Pathumthani University finished as runner-up, while Chulalongkorn University placed third after losing to Rajabhat Rangsit University 1-7. The tournament offered combined prizes and awards valued at over 200,000 baht.
