Ratchavini Bangkhen Wins Double Futsal Championship
Ratchavini Bangkhen dominated the DPE WOW Futsal Cup 2026, winning both the Under-16 and Under-18 divisions at the final championship held at Nimi Butron Sports Hall before the venue returns to Chulalongkorn University.
The Department of Physical Education futsal championship for the 2026 academic year, the DPE WOW Futsal Cup 2026 Category A finals, took place on September 16, 2026 at Nimi Butron Sports Hall with the following results:
Under-14 division: Nonthaburi College lost to Ratchavini Secondary School 1-4, with third place shared by Sahaseducation Bangbuathong and Pathum Kongka schools.
Under-16 division: Prot Pittayapat School lost to Ratchavini Bangkhen on penalties 1-4 (tied 1-1 in regulation time), with third place shared by Samut Sakhon Burana and Triam Udom Suksa Samut Prakan schools.
Under-18 division: Ratchavini Bangkhen defeated Islamic College of Thailand 4-2, with third place shared by Sukumnavipan and Tweed Thaphiset schools.
This year's Department of Physical Education futsal championship marks the final student-level tournament held at Nimi Butron Sports Hall at the National Sports Stadium, closing a historic era for youth and international futsal competition at the venue spanning several decades. After October 1, 2026, the Department of Physical Education will return the facility to Chulalongkorn University for management.
