A man in a pink shirt on a motorcycle disrupted two schools in Nonthaburi Province on August 11, nearly hitting officials and students while driving erratically around the grounds. Authorities are hunting the suspect, who was reportedly arm
On August 11 at 2:30 p.m., village headwoman Chawanakorn Yoginismichinja of Moo 4, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province, along with the village security team and assistant, received reports of a man acting in an agitated and violent manner at Prachasat Bamrung School, a kindergarten through elementary institution in the same subdistrict. Upon arrival, the suspect fled the scene and nearly collided head-on with the headwoman's vehicle as he sped away.
CCTV footage at 2:41 p.m. captured a man wearing a pink shirt driving a motorcycle in circles around the school grounds while elementary students were still in class. According to the headwoman's account, when she arrived and the suspect saw her vehicle, he drove toward her almost hitting her vehicle, prompting her to believe he was the perpetrator. She and her team chased him to Sahasuksaeng Bua Thong School, another institution in the area, where he again drove in circles and acted aggressively. When the assistant attempted to stop the motorcycle and remove the keys, the man yelled threats, revved the engine, and nearly struck the assistant before fleeing.
Authorities have escalated the manhunt after learning the suspect, who appears to be from the neighboring Pimolrach Subdistrict, was carrying a knife—a significant danger to children and the public. The man has been agitated since the Pimolrach side, where local authorities initially failed to detain him. Village officials have deployed full teams to secure the area and locate the suspect for legal proceedings.
