Military Mobilizes to Aid Flood Victims in Kanchanaburi and Suphan Buri

On September 28, the 9th Infantry Regiment and affiliated units under Region 29 deployed rapid mobile task forces with full equipment to provide urgent assistance to residents affected by flooding in their operational areas. Support efforts have included establishing sandbag barriers to prevent further flooding, relocating supplies, and evacuating residents trapped in homes to safe zones. Relief operations span Trat Yoek and Thong Pha Phum districts in Kanchanaburi province, as well as Mueang district in Suphan Buri province, with forces remaining prepared to respond continuously as the situation develops.
Simultaneously, the Army has ordered additional military units to prepare additional personnel and equipment to support relief operations for flood victims in Bangkok. Forces are ready to deploy immediately upon request, with the full aim of alleviating public hardship and ensuring safety.
