Motorcyclist Dies After Losing Control on Dark Road
A 31-year-old motorcyclist died after losing control on a dark, poorly lit curve in Nakhon Ratchasima province on September 8, skidding into a rice field near Non Ngiao bridge. Rescue teams performed CPR for 40 minutes without success.
A fatal motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 31-year-old rider on the evening of September 8, 2025, in Wang Nam Khiao district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. Emergency responders from Hook 31 Rescue received a call at 8:15 p.m. from Wang Nam Khiao Hospital reporting a motorcycle that had skidded off the road and into a rice field on a curved section of the Ba Yai-Non Ngiao route near Non Ngiao bridge. When rescue teams arrived, they found the unconscious rider, identified as Anuchit (surname withheld), with severe lacerations to his head and body. His white Honda motorcycle bore Nakhon Ratchasima license plates.
According to the rider's father, Anuchit had left his home in Song Thai subdistrict, Pak Thong Chai district, heading to his girlfriend's house in Lam Nang Kaew subdistrict in the same district to visit their child. Preliminary investigation suggests he may have been riding quickly in darkness along the poorly lit road when he lost control at the curve. Rescue and emergency medical personnel performed CPR for nearly 40 minutes without success. Anuchit was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was sent to Wang Nam Khiao Hospital for autopsy and formal investigation.
