MP Sethawan Distributes Meals to Flood-Hit Pathum Thani Villagers
Pathum Thani villagers have been flooded for ten days with water still stagnant and smelly. MP Sethawan Tueaprachon and his team distributed about 500 meal boxes to the flood‑affected Fa Khram community in Khlong Two. He questioned whether pumping water from the nearby Thupatemee golf course would alleviate the situation.
Sethawan and his team rushed to hand out rice in Khlong Two, Lam Luk Ka, after villagers in multiple areas had endured ten days of flooding with no sign of the water receding. On October 5, 2026, although floodwaters have started to subside elsewhere, residents of Pathum Thani Province—particularly Khlong One, Khlong Two, Khlong Three in Khu Kot sub-district, Lam Luk Ka district—remain inundated on their tenth day, with stagnant, foul‑smelling water showing no retreat. Today, Sethawan Tueaprachon, the Pathum Thani Province District 5 MP from the People’s Party, led relief efforts, delivering roughly 500 meal boxes to the Fa Khram community in Khlong Two, where water still stands 30–50 cm deep. He also wrote on his personal Facebook: 'Khlong One, Wat Lad Sonnun, the highway drainage from the Lam Luk Ka inlet still cannot discharge, leaving the area underwater for a week; now they plan to pump water from the Thupatemee golf course—will that succeed?'.
