Muang Thong Releases Kokana, Signs Brazilian Striker Rivaldinho

Muang Thong United has officially released 22-year-old striker Kokana Kham Yok, a prospect for the Thai national team, to True Bangkok United in the Thai League 1. Over four complete seasons with Muang Thong United, Kokana recorded 20 goals and 16 assists in 111 matches since signing professionally in the 2022-23 season. He developed through Assumption University Thonburi's youth programme before beginning his professional career with the club in 2023, gaining experience across Thai League, the FA Cup, League Cup, and AFC Champions League competition while becoming a full Thai national team player.

Simultaneously, Muang Thong has secured 31-year-old Brazilian striker Rivaldinho on a season-long loan from True Bangkok United. Rivaldinho is an experienced samba centre-forward with a distinguished career in both Brazilian and European leagues. He began his youth career at major club SC Corinthians before turning professional with Mogi Mirim in Brazil's Serie B.

Rivaldinho subsequently played across Europe for multiple clubs, including 18-time Romanian league champions Dinamo Bucharest, 27-time Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia, and Cracovia in Poland's top division. He has competed in major European club competitions including the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and UEFA Conference League. Rivaldinho will serve as Muang Thong's final foreign quota player and will join training early next week, preparing for the home opener on 12 September.
