Mueang Thong Signs Ex-National Team Winger for Thai League 2
Relegated Mueang Thong United signed former national team winger Pakorn Prempakdi to bolster their Thai League 2 squad, pairing him with fellow ex-international Charoensakdi Wongkorn in a bid for quick promotion back to the top flight.
Mueang Thong United has announced the signing of Pakorn Prempakdi, a former Thai national team right winger, as they rebuild following their relegation to Thai League 2. The club lost several important players after dropping from the top flight, leaving fans uncertain whether the team could secure promotion back to Thailand's highest league within a year.
Pakorn, who played for Port Authority FC last season, is an attacking midfielder known for his precise set-piece play, goal-scoring ability, and assist-making skills. He will partner with Charoensakdi Wongkorn, another former Thai national team forward, in the squad's attacking line. The two will form a key attacking duo at Mueang Thong's Thunder Dome Stadium.
Following his official unveiling, Pakorn trained with his new teammates the same day. Despite light rain during the evening session, all players, including Pakorn, participated fully in the session with enthusiasm and intensity. Mueang Thong will kick off their 2026-27 Thai League 2 campaign with an away trip to Uttaradit FC at Monthon Stadium on September 4.
