Pak Chong 2 School Eyes Provincial Upset in Youth Volleyball
Pak Chong 2 School's under-15 boys volleyball team won the district championship in Nakhon Ratchasima and aims for a provincial upset in the 2026 Prime Minister's Youth Cup despite being mostly younger players.
Pak Chong 2 School's boys' youth volleyball team is ready to give their all and chase their dream of creating a surprise in the Nakhon Ratchasima provincial rounds of the 2026 Prime Minister's Youth Cup U15 tournament.
Pak Chong 2 School clinched the district championship in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, in the under-15 boys' category, defeating Sanlaksana Wittaya School 2-0 (sets 25-11, 25-6) in the final at Kusuma Technology College in Pak Chong, earning their ticket to the Nakhon Ratchasima provincial championship round.
Coach Nayana Sirimul, head coach of Pak Chong 2 School's boys' volleyball team, said in an interview: "Winning the district championship is a source of pride for the athletes who have brought honour to the school in this tournament."
"Throughout this time, all the athletes have been dedicated and committed to training, and they have unity and teamwork, encouraging each other, which are the strengths that helped us reach the district championship goal," she added.
"Although most of our athletes are only 12-13 years old, with only a few older players aged 14-15, our athletes are ready to compete at full strength and hope to create a surprise at the provincial level," Coach Nayana concluded.
