Bangkok Issues Flood Alert for 26 Roads

Bangkok authorities are advising residents to avoid 21 roads experiencing severe flooding and exercise caution on an additional 5 roads following heavy rainfall over the past two days. As of 8:30 a.m. on September 26, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has published a list of 26 affected routes. Roads with severe flooding requiring avoidance include Suwinthawong Road in Min Buri, Latkrabang Road near Suvarnabhumi Airport, a section of Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Phaholyothin Road from Lat Phrao to various districts, and Dindeang Road. Additional affected roads include Ratchadamri Road, Patanakarn Road, Chaengwattana Road, Ladprao Road, Srinakarin Road, Onnuch Road, Ramkhamhaeng Road, Ngamwongwan Road, Petchburi Cut-New Road, Asok-Dindeang Road, Pradipat-Rama Intra Road, Sukhumvit Road, Rama 9 Road, Sihburanutkit Road, and sections of Phaholyothin and Rama Intra roads. Five additional roads—Kamphaengphet 2, Ratchwithi, Sri Ayutthaya, Bangna-Trad, and Rama 2 roads—require drivers to proceed slowly and with increased caution due to moderate flooding.
