Pheu Thai Launches Orange Convoy Campaign for Nonthaburi Governor Race
Pheu Thai Party deployed six Orange Convoy routes across Nonthaburi province on September 18, mobilizing party leaders to campaign for gubernatorial candidate Dechrut Sukgamnerd ahead of the September 20 election.
On September 18, the Pheu Thai Party launched its "Orange Convoy" campaign, deploying party leaders and campaign volunteers across Nonthaburi province ahead of the provincial governor election on September 20. Dechrut Sukgamnerd is the party's candidate for the number 4 position. The campaign began early in the morning with six separate convoy routes, each led by different party figures and covering different areas of the province via main roads, neighbourhoods, and commercial zones. The "Orange Muang Non" route was led by MP Phakamon Nunananth and former Move Forward deputy leader Padipat Santiphada, touring the Ngamwongwan and Bangkok-Nonthaburi areas. The "Orange Riverside" convoy, led by former Move Forward chairman Chaithawat Tularathan and MP Krunaphol Tiensuwan, moved through Bang Kraeng and communities along the Chao Phraya River in Muang district. The "Orange Bang Kruai" route included candidate Dechrut Sukgamnerd and Bangkok MP Kan-Phong Prayursakdi alongside Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, heading through main roads and communities in Bang Kruai district. The "Orange Muang Thong" convoy was led by Pheu Thai chairman Nuttapong Ruengpanyawutthi, former Move Forward executive Amornrat Chokpomitkul, and Pathum Thani MP Chaetwun Tueprakoen, touring the Muang Thong and surrounding areas. "Orange Pakret" was led by Pheu Thai vice chairman Weerayut Kanchuchuchard and Pannikan Wanit, moving through main roads and communities in Pakret. The "Orange Sai Noi" route, headed by Pheu Thai secretary-general Picharoen Chowpatanawong and MP Rangsiman Rom, moved through markets and communities in Sai Noi. The "Orange Bang Bua Thong" convoy included MP Prisit Watcharasindhul and Pheu Thai vice chairman Sirikanya Tanskul, covering main roads and communities there. Throughout all routes, citizens greeted the convoys, waved, took photos, and offered refreshments to the party leaders and volunteers. An evening campaign at the BB Market, called the "Orange Westgate" route, was scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m., led by Bangkok MP Suphanat Meechaiyanan, candidate Dechrut Sukgamnerd, Padipat Santiphada, and former Move Forward chairman Pitta Limjaroenchat, before moving through Bang Yai markets.
