Police Bust Illegal Peptide Injection Operation in Nonthaburi
Police shut down an illegal peptide injection operation in Nonthaburi that had generated an estimated 8 million baht monthly selling unregistered products through social media, seizing goods valued over 50 million baht.
On September 11, police and health officials including National Police Commissioner Siam Bunserm and Public Health Minister Pattana Praom Pattana conducted a raid on an illegal peptide injection product sales operation in Sao Thong Hin subdistrict, Bang Yai district, Nonthaburi province. Officers seized a large quantity of goods valued at over 50 million baht.
The investigation began after police received complaints from parents whose children had used the injections, raising safety concerns. Officers traced the operation to a social media account called "Home Review Quality Products Only" that was actively promoting the Haus of Peptide brand injections for sale.
Authorities found that the network had been illegally selling unregistered peptide injection products for approximately one year. They operated from a rented residential property and employed foreign workers to pack and ship goods via private courier services, averaging 100 boxes shipped daily at 2,900 baht per box, generating an estimated 8 million baht in monthly revenue.
Preliminary charges include selling unregistered pharmaceuticals without authorization, carrying penalties of up to five years imprisonment and fines not exceeding 10,000 baht, and selling unregistered medicinal products, with penalties of up to three years imprisonment or fines not exceeding 5,000 baht or both.
