Police Release Two Suspects in Russian Brothers' Disappearance
Police released two suspects in the disappearance of two Russian brothers in Chachoengsao after questioning them as witnesses, while two primary suspects remain at large and face allegations of involvement in the mysterious case.
Police in Huai Yai have released two suspects, Sua (Tiger Sua) and Nai Pang, who are among four individuals suspected of involvement in the mysterious disappearance of two Russian brothers in the Huai Yai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chachoengsao Province. The suspects came under scrutiny after evidence linked them to the missing men's motorcycle being used for digging and burial activities, and for driving a motorcycle used to help the two primary suspects, Nai Pong and Nai Thang, escape when police closed in. On July 31, 2569 (2026), following questioning by investigators from Huai Yai Police Station, both Sua and Nai Pang were released without formal charges, as they had been summoned for questioning as witnesses regarding suspicious circumstances. Police have not yet apprehended Nai Pong and Nai Thang, though authorities continue to trace their suspected escape routes. Additionally, a woman has come forward claiming to be a victim of sexual assault and unlawful detention by Nai Pong seven years ago, saying she was threatened with death and lived in fear. She also alleged that Nai Pong receives protection from a local police officer who allegedly employs him to distribute drugs to young people in the area.
