The Roi Et Municipal Sports School is aiming to use its provincial champion pride to challenge all provinces for the Prime Minister’s Youth Cup Northeast Zone 2 title before moving on to the national stage. The school’s girls’ volleyball team, also known as the Nong Ya Ma Municipal School team, is one of the outstanding youth volleyball training centres in Roi Et Province. It is a new generation team that has consistently achieved success at provincial, regional and national levels under the coaching of Sarawut "Tua" Emphop. Most recently, the school won the Roi Et provincial championship in the girls’ U-15 division of the Prime Minister’s Youth Cup (PMYC). Coach Tua said he started building the volleyball team seriously about nine to ten years ago, with most players beginning from scratch and having a passion for the sport. He added that the PMYC is the first competition for this group of players; although they have met their targets, there are still weaknesses to fix and develop further in order to reach the team’s ultimate goal of advancing to the national round. The team is now continuously training and ready to face any opponent from any province in pursuit of the regional championship title. Roi Et will compete in the Northeast Zone 2 regional finals alongside teams from Mukdahan, Kalasin, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, and Sisaket. The regional round will take place nationwide from October 24 to November 2. The article ends with the slogan "The Future Starts Here" and invites readers to follow the PMYC youth volleyball matches nationwide and send encouragement to Thai youth via volleyball.or.th and the Thailand Volleyball Association Facebook page.
