Roojai Insurance Winspace Cycling Team to Disband After 2026 Season
Roojai Insurance Winspace announced it will disband after the 2026 season, with the Tour of Kyushu this weekend as its final race. The team aimed to elevate Thai cyclists to the international stage, projecting a second-place finish in Asia and globally among Continental Teams. Roojai Insurance pledged to continue supporting other Thai sports despite ending the cycling project.
Roojai Insurance Winspace, a well-known cycling team, announced it will cease operations after the 2026 season, marking the end of five years of competition. The team’s Facebook page, Roojai Cycling, said the upcoming Tour of Kyushu this weekend will be its final race. In the post, the team said, “After five years together, Roojai Insurance Winspace will disband following the 2026 season. Roojai Insurance created this project with a single aim: to bring Thai cyclists onto the international stage. We are now wrapping up the team’s best season, expecting to finish 2026 ranked second in Asia and second worldwide among Continental Teams. Over the past five seasons, everyone has worked hard to create opportunities for Thai riders to reach international level. However, as a private team we have been unable to bring the best Thai cyclists into the squad and provide the opportunities we intended. Since the core goal of the project is to bring Thai cyclists to the world stage and we cannot achieve that as hoped, Roojai Insurance has decided to end the cycling team project, and we fully respect this decision. Nevertheless, this does not mark the end of Roojai Insurance’s support for Thai sports; the company will continue to back other sporting activities in Thailand and remain committed to helping Thai athletes and the sports community grow and move forward. The Tour of Kyushu this weekend will be the team’s final race, and we will give everything to send off the five seasons in the best way possible. Thank you to Roojai Insurance, Winspace, all our partners, race organizers, our fans, and above all, the athletes and staff who have worn this jersey with pride for five seasons. Thank you for your belief and for journeying with us.”
