Royal Decree Promotes 281 Police Officers Including New Deputy Chief

On September 7, the Royal Gazette published a Prime Minister's Office announcement regarding the appointment of 281 police officers by royal decree. General Ittipol Achariyapradit, National Police Chief, was promoted to Deputy Police Commissioner. Brigadier General Kritsada Surachetpong, an assistant to the Police Commissioner, was promoted to Deputy National Police Commander. Brigadier General Nopvate Aryangkul, an assistant commissioner, was promoted to National Police Chief. Brigadier General Trairongk Phiwphan became an assistant to the National Police Commander, and Brigadier General Achayan Kraitong was promoted to assistant National Police Commander. Brigadier General Nophsilp Poolswat was appointed Director of the Immigration Bureau. Colonel Thinkorn Rangmatai was appointed Commander of the Technology Crime Investigation Division, Colonel Pongsayan Meekhanthong became Tourist Police Commander, and Colonel Panthana Nuchcharot was appointed head of the Information Technology and Communications Office. Brigadier General Photmin Pumpanthum was appointed Commander of the Narcotics Suppression Division, Brigadier General Naradet Thiprak became Regional Police Commander for Region 1, Brigadier General Prutthipong Prayurasiri was appointed Director of the Police Forensic Science Office, Colonel Kaset Ratnasumavanggul was appointed Medical Director, and Colonel Charuenkarti Paankaew was appointed National Police Chief.
