Mawin Tweepol opened his heart on the MY DADDY James programme about his four-year journey and nine attempts to become a father, recounting eight failures before finally succeeding on the ninth try. His wife Tu Piyavadee encouraged him to continue, reminding him that they needed to create a representation of their love to care for each other when one of them was no longer around, leading to the birth of their beloved daughter. Mawin shared painful memories from his childhood of growing up unprepared and experiencing physical abuse, vowing firmly never to pass violence to his daughter Meow Mee and committing to becoming a gentle father who raises his child through respect and sharing.
Regarding the meaning of his daughter's name, Mawin explained that "Meow" refers to cats, stemming from his early career when he was unemployed and his wife asked what he was skilled at. He told her he was good with cats, and eventually he began competing with championship-breed Persian cats across Asia, becoming a Grand Champion and later a cat food presenter. "Mee" comes from his passion for noodles and his early vlogging career focused on food reviews. The couple's four-year journey involved nine attempts at fertility treatment, beginning when his wife was around 43-44 years old and he still wasn't ready due to work and financial concerns. Initially, Mawin's sperm count was excellent, but after marriage and years of intensive treatment, his wife's condition changed; she went from producing eight to ten eggs monthly to experiencing significant decline due to age, chromosomal issues, and the toll of their demanding lifestyle.
They failed consecutively two to three times and Mawin grew discouraged, particularly devastated by the fifth failure. After arguments early on, they gradually learned to understand each other better as they adjusted their lifestyle and work habits. By the eighth attempt, they considered stopping, having spent substantial money and fearing continued pain for his wife. But when Tu Piyavadee asked, "If I die, what will you do?" Mawin decided to try once more. He responded that he would die with her, explaining that his world is so intertwined with hers that he cannot exist without her, leading them to pursue the ninth and ultimately successful attempt.
