In Huai Yot district, Trang province, a grade-A coconut farmer shares his secret formula: applying sea salt and granulated salt—about 1 to 2 kilograms per tree every three months, sprinkled around the base and reaching the leaves—produces large, sweet coconuts with pristine skin and no pest or disease damage. The technique results in tender flesh, sweet and fragrant water, and an appealing pale-green exterior that keeps customers coming back.
