Thai AirAsia Launches Priority Service for Senior Travelers

Thai AirAsia is rolling out special privileges for senior passengers aged 60 and above on all domestic flights. The new program offers priority check-in at designated counters, priority baggage collection at the destination airport, and complimentary adjacent seating (subject to standard-seat availability on each flight), all at no additional charge. Passengers simply present their national ID at check-in to access the benefits, which extend to one accompanying family member.

Thanysita Akharetthaphoem, Commercial Director of Thai AirAsia, said the airline is committed to enhancing service quality for senior travelers, who are an important and loyal passenger segment. "We have trained ground and cabin crew to better understand and care for senior passengers," she explained. "Combined with these special privileges on every domestic flight, especially as we enter the peak year-end travel season, we want to ensure senior travelers and their families enjoy a smooth journey from departure to arrival."

At Bangkok's Don Muang Airport, senior passengers can check in at Counter 10J in the domestic terminal, Building 2, which is staffed and marked with a senior-traveler symbol. At other domestic airports, passengers can identify the senior service counter by its symbol or by asking airport staff. Upon check-in, eligible passengers receive a special baggage tag that allows their luggage to be unloaded first at their destination, enabling faster baggage collection.
