Thailand Moves Flood‑Negligent District Chief to Admin College
Thailand’s Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration has ordered the transfer of Ban Sang District Chief Setthawut Wongloewut to the College of Public Administration after he failed to cooperate in flood relief efforts in Prachin Buri. The move follows a complaint from the provincial governor and an investigation that confirmed the official’s lack of dedication. The official will serve auxiliary duty at the college from 7 October to 5 November 2069.
The Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, Natcha Hosasilasilai, has issued Order No. 2871/2569, placing Ban Sang District Chief Setthawut Wongloewut on auxiliary duty at the College of Public Administration. The order, effective from 7 October 2069 to 5 November 2069, invokes Section 32 of the Public Administration Act, B.E. 2534 (as amended), stating the reassignment serves the interests of the service. The official is to perform his duties at the college on a regular basis.
