Thailand's national relay teams advanced to the 4x100 metres finals at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026, held at Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium on September 27. Qualifying round competition was held in two heats per gender, with the top three finishers from each heat plus the two fastest remaining times advancing to the final, totaling eight teams.
The women's team of Manatsda Sarmano, Supanda Petcharaksa, Supanich Poolkerd, and Jiraphatch Khanomtao ran in the first heat, posting a time of 43.65 seconds—Thailand's best time this year—and advanced with the second-fastest qualifying time. China recorded the fastest time at 43.63 seconds. The women's final will be held on September 28 at 8:04 p.m. Bangkok time.
The men's team competed in heat two, led by "Biu" Phuripool Boonsorn, a double Asian Games gold medalist who rested for about two hours after winning the 200 metres before running the relay. The lineup was Chutithat Pruksanantan on leg one, Phuripool on leg two, Thawatchai Himiad on leg three, and Sarawat Dabdang on leg four. Despite a baton handoff issue, they finished second with a time of 38.89 seconds, behind Japan's first-place time of 38.71 seconds. Thailand advanced to the final as the fourth-fastest qualifier. The men's final will be held on September 28 at 8:23 p.m. Bangkok time.
