Goals came from Mirika Sheelah Murdoch, Pavichiyada Yotsaworayee (two), Kantornphan Wongthong, and Nantinya Meepho. The victory qualifies Thailand for the final tournament in China next year.
The Thailand U-17 women's team continued their hot form by defeating Lebanon 5-0 in the final qualifier match held on October 11 at Chonburi's Daikin Stadium. Mirika Sheelah Murdoch opened the scoring in the 21st minute, assisting Kantornphan Wongthong for the first goal. Pavichiyada Yotsaworayee added two goals in the 33rd and 40th minutes, making it 3-0. Murdoch scored again in the 56th minute to extend the lead to 4-0, and Nantinya Meepho finished the scoring in the 65th minute for the final 5-0 win. With the victory, Thailand collected nine points, topped Group F, and qualified for the Asian U-17 Women's Championship finals scheduled to be held in China next year.
