Transport Company Launches Three New Feeder Bus Routes

The Transport Company is expanding public transport services by opening three new feeder bus routes that connect airports, ports, and major tourism destinations. According to Arthawit Rakcharoen, CEO of the Transport Company, the new services aim to provide convenient, fast, and safe travel options for residents and tourists while supporting the government's seamless transport policy.

The three new routes are:

1. Bangkok to Khao Kho: 443 kilometers, 398 baht fare. Air-conditioned first-class buses with 36 seats operate twice daily (departing Bangkok's Mo Chit 2 station at 9:00 AM and Khao Kho at 8:40 PM). This expansion extends the previous Bangkok-Lom Sak route to promote tourism in Phetchabun Province.

2. Udon Thani to Udon Thani International Airport to Vientiane, Laos: 87 kilometers, 80 baht fare. Air-conditioned second-class buses with 40 seats begin service on September 9, 2026, running twice daily. The morning departure leaves Udon Thani's Bus Terminal 1 at 9:00 AM, reaching the airport at 9:30 AM and Vientiane at noon. The return departs Vientiane at 2:00 PM. This route adds an airport stop to the existing Udon Thani-Vientiane service.

3. Bangkok to Takuapa to Tub Lamu Port: 797 kilometers, 1,075 baht fare. Premium first-class air-conditioned buses with 24 seats launch September 9, 2026, twice daily (departing Bangkok at 6:35 PM and Tub Lamu Port at 5:00 PM). This expanded route connects passengers to Phang Nga tourism destinations including the Similan and Surin Islands.

The Transport Company plans to open two additional feeder routes in the future: Loei to Loei Airport to Luang Prabang, and Bangkok to Phuket International Airport to Phuket. The company aims to develop a comprehensive transport network connecting road, sea, and air systems to support seamless travel, promote public transport use, boost tourism and local economies, and ensure sustainable national transport development.
