TSPCA Distributes Pet Food to Flood-Hit Bangkok Animals
TSPCA delivered emergency pet food to dogs and cats in flood‑hit Bangkok neighborhoods on September 29, responding to reports that animals were running out of food and clean water after days of inundation. The effort, led by President Teerapong Pangsiwong, is part of a broader project to rehabilitate animal welfare after floods and support affected pet owners. Donations of food, medicine and supplies continue to be accepted at the association’s Bangkok office.
The TSPCA team visited the Khawarom Kla neighborhood and surrounding districts, handing out pet food to alleviate shortages under its Flood‑Afflicted Animal Welfare Rehabilitation Project. The initiative aims to rescue, relieve, and restore the well‑being of flood‑impacted animals, ease the burden on pet owners, and monitor health to prevent post‑flood diseases. Donations of pet food, medicine and supplies are welcome at the association’s office on Witthayu Road, Lumpini, Bangkok 10330, with contact numbers provided for coordinators.
