On August 14, Police Lieutenant Somjet Tarawichit of the Bang Nam Prio Police Station received a report of a death inside a rental room in Tambon Sala Daeng, Amphoe Bang Nam Prio, Chachoengsao Province. Medical staff from Bang Nam Prio Hospital and rescue workers were dispatched to investigate.

Inside the single-storey rental room, officers found the body of Thiradech, 19, lying face down in the rear section, wearing only shorts. He had a rope tied around his neck, and a severed rope was found attached to the roof above. Officers collected evidence from the scene.

According to Surasit, 28, a friend of the deceased, he received a call from the victim's girlfriend asking him to check on her boyfriend after losing contact with him. A 24-year-old entertainment worker in Udon Thani has filed a complaint with Muang Udon Thani Police after being cheated out of 2,500 baht in wages. According to her account, a male client hired her on August 13 at 2 p.m. for standard companionship services, with the first round paid in full without incident. Around midnight, the same client contacted her again, saying he was heartbroken over a recent breakup and asking her to accompany him to an entertainment venue as a friend. To apologize and prove the truth of the photographs, Tawan attempts to show Mint the vintage film images. Though Mint denies they are of her and dismisses the matter as absurd, fate intervenes when she is assigned to travel to trace the origins of a specific Thai fabric pattern at Ban Huai Tha in Uttaradit Province—the exact location where Tawan's photographs were taken. Mint travels with a new photography team including Jo (Ta Athiwat) and New (Chris Christopher), while Tawan and Art (Non Inthanon), his best friend and manager, decide to journey to Uttaradit to trace the source of the mysterious photograph.

They face difficulties questioning local residents about the person in the image until they are directed to a house in the remote town of Lap La. There, Tawan encounters Mint again by chance. These repeated meetings in distant locations lead Tawan to believe in fate, while Mint maintains her emotional distance and dedication to her work.

Amid the warm atmosphere of the northern countryside, Tawan helps with Mint's project work and begins to understand the value of Thai textiles through her perspective. Her emotional walls gradually crumble as she reveals the story of Kamalwan and Danai (also played by Toh Thanaphop), a civil engineer from Bangkok, whose profound connection is tied to memories preserved in photographs across time.

On August 14, 2026, Sarakin Provincial Police Commander Major General Thaworn Dulyavit, Deputy Commander Colonel Chaturaphot Singhassit, and Investigation Division Chief Colonel Damrong Eempairojon coordinated with Khlong Nam Sai Police Station and military personnel to search a residential house in Moo 7, Khlong Nam Sai subdistrict, Aranyprathet district, Sarakin province. Bank of Thailand Governor Veerathai Santiprabhob outlined the central bank's approach to addressing four financial challenges threatening Thailand's economic growth and stability. The Bank of Thailand's primary mission of maintaining macroeconomic stability remains unchanged, Veerathai said, and while inflation and financial system risks have diminished significantly, Thailand's real problem now lies in slowing economic growth and declining growth potential due to structural issues. He warned that without decisive action, prolonged slow growth will reduce business and household incomes, eventually leading to rising non-performing loans that will undermine macroeconomic stability.

Veerathai questioned the value of achieving financial stability if the economy continues to deteriorate, businesses close, and poverty increases.
