BEM Wins EIA Monitoring Awards for Three Expressways
Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited won top-level environmental awards for three expressway routes, recognized for strict adherence to environmental impact assessment requirements and sustainable transport operations.
Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) has received outstanding-level EIA Monitoring Awards for 2026 across all three of its expressway routes: Sri Rat Expressway, Udon Rat Expressway, and Prachuap Rat Expressway. Assistant General Manager Rungsakdi Luangratnamaj accepted the award on behalf of BEM from Deputy Transport Minister Nantachat Suphangkul at Rama Gardens Hotel in Bangkok. The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning organized the ceremony under the theme "Shaping Sustainable Tomorrow" to recognize businesses and agencies that genuinely, efficiently, and transparently implement environmental impact assessment requirements.
The three awards reflect BEM's commitment to strictly adhering to environmental measures while developing and providing efficient and sustainable transport services. This recognition also demonstrates the company's priority in managing environmental impacts across all operations, including environmental quality monitoring, prevention and mitigation of potential impacts from expressway services, and continuous compliance with EIA requirements.
