Thailand's TCEB Uses Viral Memes to Boost E-Learning Platform
Thailand's Convention and Exhibition Bureau is using viral memes and trending content to boost enrollment in its MICE industry e-learning platform, which has grown to 17,550 users with over 20,000 certificates issued.
The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is creating a new phenomenon in public-sector communications by adopting memes and viral trends to promote its e-Learning curriculum to younger, bold, and unconventional audiences, driving Thailand's MICE industry forward.
This communication strategy overhaul aligns with the core vision of advancing Thailand as Global–Asia's Trusted Gateway, or a "growth platform" that tangibly connects the world with Asia.
The foundation of becoming a world-class destination lies not in venue alone but in the quality and professionalism of personnel across all phases—before, during, and after events.
Modernized public relations reflecting this vision demonstrate measurable success through e-Learning platform growth. As the TCEB's online MICE curriculum enters its sixth year, August 2025 statistics show total users soaring to 17,550, with 4,239 new users joining—a 31.85% surge. Alongside this, 7,293 new e-Certificates were issued, bringing the cumulative total to 20,378.
These successes prove that engaging, accessible, and creative content can drive real economic results and professional skill development through 29 future-focused courses addressing market needs, including MICE Storyteller: The Art of MICE Storytelling, AI Competition, festival brand building, and sustainable event management.
TCEB remains committed to strengthening Thai MICE professionals. Those interested in free professional development can register at https://elearning.tceb.or.th/ or follow new knowledge content on Facebook: MICE Capabilities.
