Po Teck Tung Foundation has escalated its disaster response plan to assist flood victims in Bangkok and regional areas, opening a relief campaign called "Po Teck Tung Foundation United in Compassion Against Flooding" to mobilize volunteers in packing emergency survival kits at its Bangkok headquarters in Phlabphla Chai and upgrading mobile kitchen operations to increase boxed cooked meals at an operations site near the Jade Emperor Temple in Sathorn District, Bangkok. The foundation has deployed rescue and relief teams, district personnel, and volunteers equipped with flat-bottomed boats, water rescue equipment, 4x4 vehicles, and mobile ambulances to help evacuate residents and transport patients in multiple affected areas since the evening of September 25, 2025.
On September 28, 2025, under the direction of foundation chairman Wichian Techapibun, the foundation opened its relief initiative and organized volunteers to urgently pack 1,000 emergency survival kits containing canned food, instant rice, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bathing cream, mosquito spray, wet tissues, LED flashlights, trash bags, sanitary napkins, and basic home medicines, which were loaded onto flat-bottomed boats for immediate distribution to flood victims in areas such as Nakhon Nayok Province. The foundation is simultaneously preparing an additional 2,000 medicine kits for distribution through its community medical teams and volunteers at its Bangkok headquarters.
The foundation has also upgraded its mobile kitchen, currently stationed at the parking area near the Jade Emperor Temple in Sathorn District, to increase production of boxed cooked meals and drinking water for disaster response teams, who transport food and beverages by boat to affected areas for immediate distribution. Additionally, the foundation has deployed relief teams to Pua and Wang Pha districts in Nan Province to distribute consumer goods to flood victims and provide financial assistance for funeral expenses under its post-flood recovery program, with total aid exceeding 600,000 baht.
Since the flooding began, the foundation has dispatched disaster response teams comprising rescue personnel, volunteers, and equipment including flat-bottomed boats, water rescue gear, generators, 4x4 vehicles, mobile ambulances, life jackets, drinking water, and basic home medicine kits.
