The Thai Gold Traders Association reported on September 23, 2026 that gold prices have risen 150 baht compared to the previous day's closing price. Ornamental gold bars are selling at 68,950 baht per baht-weight. Gold bars for domestic purchase are trading at 67,950 baht per baht-weight for buyback and 68,150 baht per baht-weight for sale under the first announcement. For 96.5 percent ornamental gold, the buyback price stands at 66,597.88 baht per baht-weight with a selling price of 68,950 baht per baht-weight. Global gold spot prices are at 4,341 US dollars per ounce. Gold traders predict the market will open higher tomorrow, with prices potentially surging 1,000 to 2,000 baht per baht-weight and breaking through the 80,000 baht level.
