Ikea Cuts Prices on 1,000 Items, Plans Khon Kaen Store
Ikea Thailand is cutting prices on over 1,000 items and opening its first northeastern store in Khon Kaen, as part of a new campaign focused on affordable home organization and storage solutions.
Ikea Thailand has announced its fiscal year 2570 business direction and strategy, launching the "Every Version of You" campaign under the concept "Make Space for What You Love." The company is emphasizing its expertise in storage and home organization products, believing that homes should grow and evolve alongside residents through affordable storage solutions. Ikea will continue its "Everyday More Value" campaign and expand customer reach by opening its first store in northeastern Thailand in Khon Kaen.
In the previous fiscal year, Ikea Thailand prioritized kitchen products and cooking equipment amid economic challenges and rising cost of living. The "Everyday More Value" campaign achieved remarkable success, selling over 9,000 METOD kitchen sets and generating approximately 300 million baht in revenue. This enabled Ikea Thailand to rank first in kitchen sales within the IKANO Group and 24th globally. The OFTAST cookware sold over 1.7 million units. Continuing this momentum in fiscal year 2570, Ikea will reduce prices on over 1,000 products, starting from just 19 baht.
Sanganie Leonardi Hosking, Retail Business Manager for Ikea Thailand and Vietnam, stated that the company believes the items people choose to keep reflect their identity, and clutter occurs when these items lack proper storage. Ikea aims to help Thai families address the persistent problems of limited living space and daily clutter by making home organization easier, more accessible, and more affordable. The campaign "Every Version of You" transforms this concept into reality by helping create space for what matters most, accommodating every version of oneself through life's changes, whether small challenges or major transitions.
