IKEA Thailand Celebrates 15 Years with Expansion and Special Collection
Celebrating 15 years, IKEA Thailand announced provincial store expansion and launched a limited Thai-inspired collection including mismatched socks, city tote bags, and cultural accessories
IKEA Thailand celebrates its 15th anniversary in the country, reflecting on its journey of success through quality furniture and home decor with beautiful designs at affordable and accessible prices, while presenting a special collection. On November 3, 2026, Leoni Hoskin, Retail Business Manager for IKEA Thailand and Vietnam, announced a major operational plan to expand the market into provinces and commemorate IKEA Thailand's 15th anniversary. Over the past 15 years, IKEA has strived to understand Thai lifestyles through various projects, including the Home Visit project where IKEA teams visit customers' homes to discuss their daily lives and lifestyles at home, using those insights to develop products that best meet their needs. The company has marked continuous success milestones, including expanding to a total of 6 stores, a strategy for small-format and provincial stores, advancing new model/small stores (such as the Chiang Mai branch and the upcoming Khon Kaen store, the first in the Northeast) to reach customers more easily with appropriate investment budgets. The launch of IKEA for Business supports business clients with needs different from general consumers, and the "Everyday More Value" campaign delivers ongoing value to consumers. In last year's campaign, IKEA Thailand focused on kitchen products, cooking and dining equipment, achieving success by selling over 9,000 METOD kitchen sets, generating approximately 300 million baht in revenue, making IKEA Thailand rank #1 in kitchen sales within the IKANO Group and #24 globally. To celebrate the 15th anniversary, IKEA has prepared a special collection blending Thai identity with IKEA's signature design style. Highlights include the "Lost and Found" socks, which take the classic household problem of missing single socks and transform it into four sock designs sold separately, allowing customers to mix and match or buy replacements for lost socks. The special collection also includes "A Place for Every Journey" — tote bags representing six cities corresponding to IKEA's six stores, indicating every place has a story; "Every Version of You" — colorful headscarves and specially designed Frakta bags for everyone to enjoy being themselves every day; and "Small Things. Big Meaning" — pins and keychains inspired by Thai culture in IKEA style. The special collection products have been on sale since today until supplies run out. Additionally, there are many more special activities and promotions at IKEA stores and online at IKEA.co.th.
