The Thai Meteorology Department has identified 51 provinces experiencing very heavy rainfall affecting 80 percent of Bangkok and surrounding areas, causing flash floods, flooding, and landslides. On September 25, 2569, the department forecasts heavy rain across much of the northern, northeastern, central, Bangkok metropolitan, and eastern regions over the next 24 hours, with some areas receiving very heavy rainfall. The upper southern region will see heavy rain in scattered areas.
The public is urged to be alert to dangers from heavy to very heavy rain and accumulated rainfall that may cause flash floods, flooding, and landslides, particularly in foothill and low-lying areas. Travel through routes with recurring flood problems should be avoided, especially in low-lying areas vulnerable to short-term flooding.
A strong low-pressure depression over the eastern region is moving along a monsoon trough passing through the lower central and eastern regions, combined with moderately strengthening southwest monsoon winds covering the Andaman Sea, southern region, and Gulf of Thailand.
Waves in the upper Gulf of Thailand are moderately strong at 2–3 meters in height, while the upper Andaman Sea has waves of approximately 2 meters, with heights exceeding 2 meters in thunderstorm areas. Mariners in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand should navigate cautiously and avoid thunderstorm zones. Small boats in the upper Gulf of Thailand should stay ashore until September 27, 2569.

Northeastern Region: Thunderstorms in 70 percent of areas with scattered heavy rain in Loei, Nongbualamphum, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Buriram, Surin, and Sisaket provinces, with very heavy rain in some Nakhon Ratchasima areas. Central Region: Thunderstorms in 80 percent of areas with heavy rain in multiple locations, particularly Uthai Thani, Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Songkhram, with very heavy rain in scattered areas of Nakhonsawan, Chainat, Singburi, Angthong, Lopburi, Saraburi, Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, and Nakhon Pathom provinces. Eastern Region: Thunderstorms in 80 percent of areas with heavy rain in multiple locations and very heavy rain in scattered areas of Nakhon Nayok, Prachuapkhirikhan, Sa Kaew, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat provinces.
