Mother Forgives Sons After On-Air Apology, Pursues Care Center Action
A mother publicly forgave her two sons after they apologized on television for placing her in an elderly care center where she alleged abuse, confinement, and forced medication. She said the center lacked a doctor and had iron cages on beds, and vowed to pursue legal action against it. Authorities have begun investigating the facility for operating without proper medical licensing.
Mother opens up, forgiving both sons after they knelt and apologized on the Hone Krass program, but insists on fully pursuing legal action against the elderly care center. She says the center had no doctor as claimed and alleges she was physically abused, confined, and forced to take sleeping pills. Police and health officials have found the facility operating without proper medical licensing and using iron cages on beds. The Crime Suppression Division inspected the center and found iron cages on beds; the owner said they were to prevent patients from falling and hurting themselves, arguing that tying limbs with ropes for long periods risks swelling and wounds, denying any physical abuse and claiming care followed standards and proper licensing. The Director-General of the Health Service Support and Tha Mueang police inspected the center and preliminarily found it had not applied for a medical facility license and was operating beyond the scope permitted for a care center. On October 6, 2026, after the Hone Krass program ended at the M-Linn Building, the mother, feeling weak, returned home assisted by the program’s staff who helped her out of the elevator as she felt faint and might faint. She gave a brief media interview; when asked if she forgave all her children after they knelt to apologize, she nodded. She did not answer whether she would still prosecute her sons, but confirmed she would fully pursue legal action against the care center and said the center indeed had no doctor as it claimed. When asked if there was violence within the family, she said it’s normal that no family is without problems.
