Muay Thai fighter Suriyant Lek has resumed training after being hit by a van in Pathum Thani province last month, joking on social media about wearing a CD for protection against future accidents.
Suriyant Thiannok, the prominent muay thai fighter known as Suriyant Lek, has returned to training after being struck by a van that knocked him into a roadside ditch. He posted a humorous photo on social media wearing a CD around his neck as protection against future accidents.
On August 15, Sam Khok Police responded to a report of a van hitting a pedestrian on Khlong Prem Road in Chiang Rak Noi subdistrict, Pathum Thani province. Officers, volunteers, and emergency responders found Suriyant Thiannok, 29, wearing exercise clothing, lying in the grass beside the road. He was given first aid and taken to Sam Khok Hospital. Initial examination showed no open wounds or fractures, though he had sustained head trauma.
On September 9, Suriyant posted a photo of himself jogging with a CD hanging from his neck and captioned it "Back to training now." The post drew humorous comments from fans, with one joking, "Even a van couldn't take him down." Reports suggest he may be preparing to return to competition at ONE Lumpinee in the near future.
