Opposition MP Slams PM Over Flood Aid Delivery

Speaking at parliament on 1 October 2069, Rakkhan Srinok of the Move Forward Party said the Prime Minister’s remark that having parents teach you only got you this far was insensitive and called for a stop to bullying those who cannot choose their birth. She criticised the Bhumjaithai party’s decision to send flood‑relief meals via Grab, arguing that even arranging food delivery shows the government’s inability to manage a crisis, and warned that if they cannot handle such a basic task, the public cannot trust them with more complex issues. Rakkhan urged lawmakers to prioritise student loan relief and social security instead of diverting attention to minor controversies, and said making mistakes and apologising is not fatal. Asked whether she regretted voting for Anutin Chaivarakul to become prime minister, she replied that at the time they hoped to amend the constitution, and added that the public will judge the government’s crisis response when deciding future political support. She also said political leaders should empathise with vulnerable groups, especially those without parents, and that mocking someone for lacking parental guidance is unfair because it is not their fault.
