Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul pointed to the death of a Russian female researcher, linking it to worldwide worry about a plague epidemic. He said the Public Health Ministry is on guard, preparing medical supplies. Asked if travel bans from Russia are necessary, he replied that measures are already ready. On the reform group's request to shift duties from the Land Bank Institute to the Community Development Organization, he said he had delegated Deputy Prime Minister Songsak Thongsri to act.
