Fortune Teller Warns of Year-End Risks in Thailand
Mor Plai, a well-known Thai fortune teller, warned of three year-end risks: accidents at entertainment venues, troubles caused by foreign visitors, and sudden political or financial shocks involving prominent figures. He also expressed concerns about meat safety, possible disease outbreaks, and flood risks for the year 2025, advising the public to prepare supplies and stay vigilant.
During a segment on the show 'Chatting Spicy Show', Mor Plai outlined his predictions for October through December 2026. He said the first concern involves sudden changes among elites and politicians, including abrupt laws, financial fluctuations, and scandals that could shock well-known figures. The second warning concerns a large influx of foreigners whose spending does not meet expectations, potentially leading to conflicts, violence, and illegal activities such as drug use that could harm Thais. The third warning points to possible accidents at entertainment venues, especially from fireworks around the New Year period, advising people to celebrate in open areas with clear exits. Looking ahead to year 2025 (BE 2570), Mor Plai highlighted worries about meat safety and rising prices, possible disease outbreaks linked to imported meat, and a flood-prone year symbolized by the Goat zodiac. He noted the entertainment industry may slow down but live performances and online work will still provide income, and urged the public to prepare for potential flooding by stocking food and cash for one to two weeks.
